Packaging Inspection
JLI Packaging Inspection Systems are custom designed turnkey solutions for measuring dimensions, shapes, surface defects, color printing and sorting many different products.
The systems cover a wide range of production processes and industries. All equipment is designed for the actual environment. and can withstand the tough conditions at most production facilities. This means extraordinary reliability, fail-safe operation and may include high speed and superior accuracy.
General features/benefits of JLI turnkey systems include:
- Adapted to existing production lines
- Internet connection for support
- Excellent reliability track records
- Custom applications
- Validation according to GAMP5 optional

After the boxes are filled and closed, the final packaged product must be inspected. Damaged or incorrectly closed boxes are not sellable. The vision system works according to general rules. All edges should be straight and parallel, and no parts are allowed to protrude from the box.
• Flexible, compact and portable design |

Any print must be placed accurately, with sufficient contrast, complete and readable. This is true for any indsustry. This vision system inspects prints immediately after production. If any discrepancies are detected, the system can activate a reject mechanism. Statistical data is gathered and enables • Precise color drift inspection |

Plastic Sealing A vision system for inspection of plastic sealings. Packages that needs vacuum formed containers can be inspected in order to detect defective welding and foreign objects in the seam. When a defective package is found, a signal is can be provide to a reject mechanism. • Can be installed on existing equipment |

Aluminium Foil Pressing aluminium foil objects can result in an array of faults such as holes, wrinkles and shape-faults. This vision system inspects objects with high resolution cameras immediately after having been pressed, and is capable of rejecting defective objects automatically. • High speed operation• Comprehensive production statistics generated to monitor performance • Improves yield • Stand alone unit |

Metal Cans When producing cans and lids, it is important to inspect for damaged seal compound. The overall shape is measured, the compound is investigated, and any missing or discoloured compound is detected. The surface is checked for contamination or foreign bodies. • Check seal and surface quality of lids and cans |

Labels When labelling, it is necessary to inspect the final product. Labelling machines cannot operate fault free and therefore extensive manual inspection is often associated with this operation. An inspection system can detect the exact location and orientation of the labels. Any drift in alignment and the bottle is rejected.
• Manual inspection is eliminated |
